On Wednesday 17th February 2021 the Redlands Regional Jobs Committee hosted the Inaugural Championing Redlands Coast, Futures Forum. <\/strong>Close to 100 people from attended industry, government, training institutions, social enterprises & schools were in attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Futures Forum explored what $6b investment in our city, 138 projects and over 12,000 construction years jobs means for businesses, community and youth here on the Redlands Coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between all our speakers, the event highlighted the deep connection between the desired outcomes of CRC and the fundamental components a vibrant regional economy. By the end of the event the message was very clear, that we all have our part to play in the success of the Redlands Coast and #abrightfutureahead.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event had a jam packed line up of speakers, including Kim Richards MP; Rhett Bowlen (CRC) Brad Flanagan (Jobs Queensland), Joel Salmon (Lendlease), The \u2018Reinvention Panel\u2019 including Mark McKenzie (Transdev), Michael Mowkra (REA Global) and Adam Souter (Fiteni Properties) and our Redlands Youth Panel \u2013 the future of our city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Youth Panel \u2013 The voice of the future Redlands<\/strong>
Adam Carmichael led our Redlands youth panel chat, which highlighted the importance of connecting industry and youth<\/strong> as early as possible as well as building a culture of collaboration and ownership<\/strong> of the city\u2019s future;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
